Portlahorn is 2010 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Bregenz Forest Mountains. The peak is located 1.7 km south of peak Ragazer Blanken. The nearest mountain hut is Franz-Josef-Hütte, located 4km southeast. A bit closer is Gampernestalpe, which is located 3km to the south-southwest. Southwest of the summit is the valley Laternsertal.
