Punta Veleno is 1153 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Prealpi Gardesane. The peak is located 3 km west-southwest of peak Cima Telegrafo and south above the mountain pasture Casera Trovai. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Fiori del Baldo, located 3km southeast. A little further is bivouac Malga Brione. Southeast of the summit is the valley Val Lagarina.
