Rabenwaldkogel is 1280 meter high peak with a registration box and a cross and is part of the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located 3 km east-northeast from the center of Brand and 3 km southeast from the center of Rabendorf. The nearest mountain hut is Wittgruberhof, Jugendh., located 7km west-southwest. Closer is bivouac Nandl Loch, which is located 6km to the north. The peak is located severo-severowest above the mountain pasture Alm.
