Reiflingberg is 1474 meter high peak and is part of the Lavanttal Alps. The peak is located 3 km northeast from the center of Katschwald and 3 km north-northeast from the center of Sankt Wolfgang. The nearest mountain hut is Alpengasthof Sabathy, located 6km southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Lindfeld, which is located 5km to the north-northeast. Southwest of the summit is the valley Görtschitztal.
