Runzelberg is 953 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 2 km south-southeast from the center of Reinsberg and 3 km north-northwest from the center of Pockau. The nearest mountain hut is Prochenberghütte, located 13km west-southwest. Closer is bivouac Ötscherblickhütte, which is located 3km to the west. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Wiesergraben.
