Sattel is 1154 meter high peak and is part of the Bregenz Forest Mountains. The peak is located 1.5 km north-northeast from the center of Bezau and 1.9 km south-southeast from the center of Andelsbuch. The nearest mountain hut is Alpe Brongen, located 6km east-northeast. A little further is Tomasini Hütte. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Mellental.
