Schafferkogel is 1200 meter high peak in the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located 6 km south-southwest from the center of Hinterstoder and 7 km southwest from the center of Mitterstoder. The nearest mountain hut is Hochmölbinghütte, located 6km south-southeast. Closer is bivouac Hinterstoder Dietlgut, which is located 2km to the northwest.
