Schafkogel is 1135 meter high peak in the Mürzsteg Alps. The peak is located 1.3 km south-southwest from the center of Krampen and 3 km west from the center of Neuberg an der Mürz. The nearest mountain hut is Grundbauerhütte, located 5km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Kutatschhütte. The peak is located above the valley Schabbauergraben.
