Description:
Schartenkogel is 1053 meter high peak in the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 2 km north-northwest from the center of Ulreichsberg and 3 km southeast from the center of Annaberg. The nearest mountain hut is Annaberger Haus, located 3km north-northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Holzknechthütte, which is located 1.8km to the northwest. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Mühlgraben.
