Description:
Schmiedhorn is 1224 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 0.9 km southwest of peak Filbling. The nearest mountain hut is Spielbergalm (Gollegg), located 7km south-southwest. Closer is Rumingmühle, which is located 4km to the east. 3 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Fuschlsee. East of the summit is the valley Klausbach.
