Description:
Schwarzkogel is 1208 meter high peak in the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 3 km east-northeast of peak Ötscher. The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhaus Vorderötscher, located 4km south-southwest. A bit closer is Ötscherhias, which is located 3km to the south-southeast. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Klausgraben.
