Description:
Schwarzkogel is 1443 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 3 km north-northeast from the center of Neuhaus and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Lackenhof. The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhaus Vorderötscher, located 3km northeast. A little further is Möserhütte. 6 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Erlaufsee. The peak is located jugo-jugoeast above the mountain pasture Feldwiesalm. The peak is located west of the valley Mühlgraben and jugo-jugoeast above the mountain pasture Feldwiesalm.
