Description:
Sonnberg is 1073 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 1.5 km east from the center of Tiefbrunnau and 3 km west from the center of Sankt Gilgen. The nearest mountain hut is Sausteigalm, located 3km southeast. A bit closer is Rumingmühle, which is located 2km to the north-northwest. 5 km northwest of the peak there is lake Fuschlsee. The peak is located west of the valley Klausbach.
