Stegovnik is 1692 meter high peak located in the Kamnik Savinja Alps mountain range. The peak is located 4 km south of peak Plešivec / Pleschiwetz. The nearest mountain hut is Bivak Močnikova planina, located 2km east. bivouac Lovska koča Stanič is a bit further away. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Makekova kočna and a marked path leads to the top.
