The peak is located 2 km south-southwest from the center of Sankt Lorenzen bei Scheifling and 3 km north-northeast from the center of Adendorf. The nearest mountain hut is Grebenzenhaus, located 10km south-southwest. Closer is bivouac Lind bei Scheifling Bundesstraße, which is located 3km to the north. Southeast of the summit is the valley Görtschitztal.
