Steineck

Description:
Steineck is 878 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 3 km north-northeast from the center of Lunz am See and 3 km west from the center of Polzberg. The nearest mountain hut is Ybbstaler Hütte, located 8km south. A bit closer is bivouac Lunz am See Abzweigung Weißenbach, which is located 2km to the south. West of the summit is the valley Kothbergtal.
