Tristenkopf is 1741 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Bregenz Forest Mountains. The peak is located 0.4 km northwest of peak Stongerhöhe. The nearest mountain hut is Alpe Brongen, located 1.6km northeast. Hinterhochrubachalpe is also relatively close. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Lecknertal.
