Veli Brig is 616 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.4 km east-northeast from the center of Studena and 3 km north from the center of Kukuljani. The nearest mountain hut is Lovačka kuća Prve njive, located 6km northwest. A little further is bivouac Sklonište Rebar. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Mrzla dolina.
