Veliki Slom is 556 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located in country Slovenia 1.6 km west-southwest from the center of Žiče and 3 km west-northwest from the center of Loče. The nearest mountain hut is Planinska postojanka PD Dramlje, located 5km southwest. bivouac Lovska koča Štepih is a bit further away. The peak is located southeast of the valley Mislinjski jarek.
