Description:
Veliki vrh is 1764 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located in country Slovenia 3 km northeast from the center of Trnovo ob Soči and 4 km southeast from the center of Čezsoča. The nearest mountain hut is Gomiščkovo Zavetišče na Krnu, located 7km east-southeast. A bit closer is hunting cottage Lovska koča Drežnica, which is located 1.0km to the south. The peak is located vzhodno above the mountain pasture Planina Dolec. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Dolina Lepene and vzhodno above the mountain pasture Planina Dolec. The peak is located Polovnik.
