Vrh nad Sopotom is 1249 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 4 km east from the center of Čadrg and 5 km north-northeast from the center of Poljubinj. The nearest mountain hut is Koča na planini Razor, located 2km north. A little further is bivouac Bivak. South of the summit is the valley Baška grapa.
