Description:
Weißofen is 1496 meter high peak and is part of the Gailtal Alps. The peak is located 3 km north from the center of Kühweg and 4 km north-northwest from the center of Sankt Georgen im Gailtal. The nearest mountain hut is Wertschacher Alm, located 1.3km north-northeast. A little closer is Kreublacher Alm, which is located 0.5km to the south-southwest. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Unteres Gailtal.
