Description:
Windhagkogel is 1339 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Upper Austrian Prealps. The peak is located 3 km north-northeast from the center of Grünau im Almtal and 3 km south-southeast from the center of Mühldorf. The nearest mountain hut is Hochsalmhütte, located 1.9km east-northeast. Even closer is bivouac Jaghütte, which is located 1.1km to the northwest.
