Zölsenberg is 771 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.4 km east-northeast from the center of Helfenberg and 1.6 km southwest from the center of Piberschlag. The nearest mountain hut is Helfenberger Hütte, located 5km northwest. A little further is bivouac Niederwaldkirchen Schulen. Southeast of the summit is the valley Haselgraben.
