Lesično - Bredič

Access to starting point:
a) We drive to Šentjur and then follow the signs for Podsreda and Planina pri Sevnici. At the end of Šentjur we turn left towards Podsreda, from where we drive along a rather winding road to the village of Lesično, where the described path begins at the roundabout. We park in one of the parking lots in the center of the village.
b) From the Brežice–Podčetrtek road on the outskirts of the village of Bistrica ob Sotli we turn left (right from the direction of Podčetrtek) towards Podsreda. We bypass the center of Podsreda on the right side, then drive to the village of Lesično, where the described path begins at the roundabout. We park in one of the parking lots in the center of the village.
c) From the direction of Sevnica and Krško we drive to Brestanica, then follow the signs for Podsreda. This is followed by some ascent and then a descent into Podsreda, where at the end of the village we turn left towards Šentjur and Kozje. We drive to the village of Lesično, where the described path begins at the roundabout. We park in one of the parking lots in the center of the village.

Route description:
From the place where we parked, we first return to the roundabout, then follow the road in the direction of the mountain signs for Koča na Bohorju. The road or sidewalk initially leads us past the Mercator store and bar Ida, then we reach the church of St. Urh, after which the sidewalk ends. The road then turns southwest, but a little further on we leave it and continue left onto a gravel road marked with signs for Koča na Bohorju. We continue for a short time on the gravel road; when we arrive between two houses we turn right onto the marked path, which leads into the forest.
Through the forest we ascend along a track, following the markings at junctions. Higher up we reach the Trstenjak (Leskovšek) homestead, where the registration box of the XIV. Division path is located. Above the homestead the path returns to the forest; we then ascend along a gravel road, which we temporarily leave higher up as we cut across a bend and junction. When we return to the road we follow it to the right; from the nearby junction we go left. The road continues roughly southward, but before we reach the ridge the markings lead us left (straight along the road is a shorter route towards Bohor), where we continue briefly traversing to the left, then reach another road and follow it right to the nearby marked junction.
Here the marked path towards Bohor continues sharply to the right, but we continue slightly left towards Bredič and Kozje. We then descend gently to moderately, following a wider road; after the quarry we reach a somewhat larger junction and take the slightly left road (the right road leads towards Kozje), which begins to ascend again. The markings soon lead us slightly left from the road onto a footpath, which then crosses the road we just left and continues ascending along a fairly overgrown track. When the track levels out, a path from Stari trg joins from the left; we follow the signs for Bredič.
From the junction we walk a few more minutes along the overgrown track, then return to the road we crossed a few minutes earlier, from which we immediately turn right onto the marked path that cuts a longer road bend. When we return to the road we follow it right and walk along it to its end. From the end of the road we go slightly left onto a footpath, which in a few minutes brings us to the fairly overgrown summit of Bredič.
