Jassing - Jassing Almhütt´n

Access to starting point:
From the A9 motorway (direction Graz/Linz) we turn onto the S35 expressway towards Vienna and leave it at Bruck an der Mur. From there we follow the signs for Kapfenberg, then turn towards Trägoß and St. Katharein/Grüner See. After about 23 km we arrive in Oberort, where we turn left in the middle of the village.
From Oberort we continue driving past the Seehof inn, bypass Grüner See and on a gravel road ascend past Pfarrerlacke lake to the end of the valley, where there is a large parking lot Jassing. Further driving is prohibited.

Warning: The entire valley is a single paid parking zone. Since there is no parking meter at the final Jassing parking lot and intermediate points, the parking ticket must be purchased in advance at the first central parking lot in the settlement Oberort (at the tourist information).

Route description:
From the end of the parking lot, where there is also a chemical toilet at the edge, we descend on a forest path to the road. We reach it by the torrent, where the path forks.
We continue straight on the lower road (to the right branches off the Ruska cesta, which leads higher towards the Sonnschienhütte hut and the Ebenstein mountain), on which we arrive at the Jassing Almhütt'n hut in a few minutes.
