Thanks a lot. I saw pictures of the path over Kanjavec ledges. That would really be exciting.

I thought I'd go first day from Aljažev dom to Triglav then to Dolič where I'd sleep. That's why I'm interested if on the second day I could go to Kanjavec and Prehodavci and return to Aljažev dom. I've walked the path from Aljažev dom to Luknja many times, but the path through Zadnjiški dol to Luknja is unknown to me.

Would like to go to Kanjavec. Interested if anyone traversed from Kanjavec to Zasavska hut at Prehodavci, then to Čez dol and Zadnji dol to Luknja. Especially interested that part from Zasavska hut to Luknja.

@Irina
Thanks for asking. I was up there. I went via the Slovenska. I was at the top around 13:00 to 13:30, yeah but without a little horsenasmeh It was great. No problems. Perfect tour after almost a year's break from the Alps. This was also the first time I went to such a mountain alone. Thanks also to everyone who gave me info on the forum in the past days. From now on I won't go anywhere without the forum on hribi.net.

Tomorrow going to Prisank. Or rather on today's conditions, which path safer and easier: slovenska or grebenska.

Still some snow on the path?

@bos was there lots of snow on path? Was descent much harder? Need via ferrata kit for ridge?

My friend and I went on a similar tour two years ago. We started from Krnica valley over Kriška stena, and went to Križ, then to Stenar and to Pogačnikov dom. That took us about 7 hours. Second day from Pogačnik we headed for Razor, but friend before Razor also went to Planja summit (I think it's called that, or something similar). Then we went towards Prisank, but at the fork I turned for Vršič, but friend for Prisank via jubilejna and then to Vršič. Friend did that tour from Pogačnik to Vršič in about 10-11 hours. For me that was a bit too much. That's why I didn't go from Razor to Prisank, but straight to Vršič.

Big thanks for the information. The thing is I'm coming from Croatia, and I don't want to do the trip to Vršič and come back. If it's clear at Vršič or just a bit cloudy, I'll go up, most likely via the Slovenian route, if there are dark clouds I'll go to Slemenova Špica, or some similar tour. I also think I had a lot of luck that so far I haven't experienced rain in the Alps. To Jalovec with a friend we went under dark clouds through the škrbina and back over Kotovo sedlo, and there was no rain. Also to Triglav, and also to Kriški podi over Kriška stena we went in such weather. Well, now I'd go to Prisank alone, and that's another reason for caution.

I meant if the weather was like these days - changeable with the possibility of showers. I didn't mean to go to the mountain if there was much rain at Vršič, but if it was clear or cloudy at Vršič, but the forecast indicated possible showers.

Why???
furman10. 08. 2011 14:11:12
For the weekend I'd like to go to Prisank via Grebenska or Slovenska path. The forecast says clear or changeable. I'm wondering if it's safe to go if there are showers. So far I've been in the Alps many times in cloudy weather, but never showers.
