Hello.

In the postgraduate program Structural and Functional Biology, we students were challenged in the subject Human Biology II to prepare a project that goes beyond biological frameworks and shows in a more social science way how people differ from each other.

My project is titled "Mountaineers' attitude to nature".

Since I spend most of my free time in the hills and on a mountain bike, I decided to research what unites us hill folk/mountain bikers/climbers/or nature lovers in general, what draws us to our pursuits, how we differ, what kind of relationship (if any) we have with nature...

I would be grateful if you take a few minutes to briefly answer 21 questions and give your view on the topic.

The survey is available at: http://mojaanketa.si/anketa/230514518/

Lots of sunshine and safe steps!
Thank you very much.

...for explanation of the whole thing, I'll attach the following link: http://www.7billionothers.org/

...it's an interesting project of a French traveler, photographer and the basic idea actually originates from here,...

Yes it has,... reading the answers,... and thinking,... how I could present them, because they are really great,... so honest and one gets a good feeling,...

Can't wait to present the results to my non-mountaineer colleagues,...,

Really positive,.... I expected unseriousness and a lot of grumbling,... but you all really took it seriously..

Super!

Yes, hill folk are really nice peoplenasmeh)).

I agree with both comments.

- The purpose of the "research" is to encourage strictly science-oriented studentssmile))), who often lack a social science approach.
- The purpose is to let the imagination run free and have fun, perhaps learn something new.
- The data will be used as a curiosity in a 15-minute presentation.
- The "results" will be fully available only to me, as it is a project assignment that I have to complete.
- The questionnaire intentionally has open-ended questions, as I expected many colleagues with rather sharp (and often very limited) views on mountaineering activities to fill it out. If I had offered answers in advance, I would have inadvertently predicted the results a bit.
- Of course, thank you for the answers, which I must say are quite "uniform", so it will even be possible to draw a red thread,... and they have also greatly brightened my day,... especially the fun answers to some "philosophical" questionssmile.
