Nevertheless, man is a social being and must reach some agreement with others on many things - from family through smaller communities to the whole world. That's where it breaks down if everyone insists on their own - at least on those things that concern the community, not just the individual.

Everywhere some residents know how to stand up for themselves (some even ONLY for themselves), others don't. This idealization of some "West" is childish and stupid - and belongs to the category "the grass is always greener on the neighbor's side".

Besides, under the term "West" a whole bunch of very different systems are lumped together, many socially much worse than the Slovenian one. Slovenia is in most social and humanitarian categories around average, in many aspects above average.

If we count the USA under "West", which mostly is considered the embodiment of the "West", there's no comparison at all.
