Last year gf and I were trekking Iceland where we tented all the time. This year wanted similar in Sweden and Norway but plan fell through and now seeking some "replacement" multi-day trail in Slovenia, Austria or Italy where tenting possible (know it's generally forbidden in all three). Seeking remote from civ, but not (tech) demanding, mainly mid-mountains, maybe partly high. What recommend?

Have two options:
a) loop around Grossglockner, but seems bit demanding cuz planning to carry most food, backpacks ~15 or 20kg. Anyone exp with this trail? Possible to tent whole or most?
b) some Austrian part of Alpe-Adria trail? Which section?
