Jax - currently buying them and tell you firsthand they are very hard to get. They have neither choice nor sizes. Everything needs to be ordered extra and wait a day or two to ship. In Intersport they had women's model only Jalovec, as far as I know Planika has quite some other models so that's trouble....but if you really want the boot you get it. Just call Turnišče and they deliver it to nearest store.

@smatjaz yes it fits my foot really well too so I'd stick with the proven...but the Anapurna and Jalovec models are really quite stiff... I arranged to try Kanin too (but unfortunately no Vibram sole) and then decide.

@dkrajnc27 I'm of the same opinion that for serious boots you need to visit a serious store (in this case I'm leaning more towards Iglu or Kibuba who are really specialized in these things). It bothers me only that Planika boots are somehow hard to access and they don't have their own store to try multiple models in one place and find that "the one".
I'll go to Iglu to try WS TRANGO TREK MICRO EVO GTX and then decide between those or Planika Kanin.

Dkranjc27! Thanks for the reply. The boot is really like made for me but it puts me a bit in doubt. I saw them in Intersport and the seller recommended them with all enthusiasm. As for Alpina I already had Tibet lady a while ago but I could never get used to them, so they got a second owner. Checked Iglu and Kibuba. What model do you recommend (affordable)?

Hi, after a couple of years' break, I plan to go to the mountains again (in spring). Since my previous boots were Planika, I'm leaning towards them now too. Please give some advice on models Anapurna and Jalovec. They seem quite stiff to me and somehow don't fit my foot. The seller recommended Salomon Quest 4D GTX today, which fit incredibly well on my foot. I'm a bit doubtful about the boot, so I need proper advice on these models and some experience. Hikes from mid- to high mountains, so seeking the right boot.
