Thanks to all for the tips. I went around a bit to check, and all these hiking boots are basically super but too heavy - at least those I saw are all over 2kg each, so in the end I bought Haix Airpower X21 High, which I could try on, and after a few days they are excellent, light, the shoe breathes, feet stay dry inside, so I'm very satisfied. I think I'll buy those low ones above the ankle too, and sorted. velik nasmeh

Yeah seemed a bit far-fetched to me that there'd be some support inside maybe yes in those for K2 and similar, anyway I'll look for ones above ankle and stiff enough there. Lots of people say too that circa 400€ for shoes is much, if someone finds surgeon who'll replace ankles for 400€ I'll never buy them velik nasmeh

That's all nice and right but I read somewhere that some shoes have built-in support for ankle or something in that style; when I say this in store no one has idea what it's about and that's what interests me most, if it's really so or again something?

Hello, I have one question although I don't go hiking but anyway. I have problems with ankles and wonder what shoes are best to hold ankles properly? Namely, I'm almost fed up jumping from store to store where everyone knows everything but end up with problems only. I've looked a bit already but don't know much; I like best those more retro models like say Zamberlain lagorat or something similar nasmeh
