Just talked with the hut keeper, he says 1 m snow - wet. Hut closed this weekend.
But just talked with someone who went up with skis and skiing conditions very demanding due to wet snow. Advises to wait for freeze for skiing. I'll probably go tomorrow, alas without skis.

winter season is starting and this year I want to enter it with a bit more gear. Buying crampons and ice axe and have no idea what to watch out for. Some ice axes are straight, others a bit curved, some 50cm others 60cm...crampons are classic, automatic and semi-automatic...hm...
If you're interested in my measurements, here they are - height 190cm, weight 90kg, shoe size 47...I have regular high boots.

My price range is about 100€ + 100€.

Can you recommend something please?
