On a walk like in the mountains
I'm an enthusiastic hiker. I adore the mountains. Summer and winter. Hills, mountains and rocky peaks. Every year I spend a few days among the peaks of neighboring countries too. But I love domestic ranges the most. Which I know. There's nothing better than looking from the top over our beautiful homeland and recognizing the peaks rising above it. I know them. Most from close up. I can name them.
These days I observe them only from afar. From daily walks that are still allowed. I've started noticing that all walkers feel like some kind of hikers. Namely, we all greet each other. The nice habit characteristic of mountain paths has moved closer, to the valley. City dwellers have caught it too. As if we want to tell each other that everything will be fine. Maybe now we just notice each other more, when we're no longer staring only at our phones. That's also a big change I've noticed. No one has a mobile in hand anymore. We all want to soak up the sun rays, bird song, river murmur and speak to passersby. Even if only from afar and just a greeting.
Stay well!
