Back via the 7J valley, up behind Kopica and past the Vrata saddle. Under Vršaki there's still one snow patch, but not dangerous, path normally passable without winter gear.

Hi again from my side,
This weekend we did the tour: Planina Blato - Koča na Doliču, where we slept, then the next day from Dolič to Kanjavec, to Prehodavci and down the Valley of Triglav Lakes back to Planina Blato.

All snow patches are very small and passable.
As for the times, first day we hiked with all stops, snack and photographing approx 5h15min, second day from Dolič to Kanjavec 1h15min, from Kanjavec to Prehodavci 1h30min and from Prehodavci to Planina Blato 3.5h. Total 11.5h walking, similar to what you calculated, brett. Kilometers first day 15, second day 25, elevation gains first day +1300, second day +700. Still seems quite strenuous to me, at least for me, we hiked at a moderate pace, didn't rush. Definitely recommend sleeping somewhere in between, probably best at Doliču.

Safe steps nasmeh

Hi Lukito, thanks for the precise and nice report! If I get it right, you crossed the slopes under Vršaki too? I'm planning to Kopica to koča na Doliču, worried about possible dangerous snowfields...

Well, I went to check it myself velik nasmeh
Up to Planina nad Sočo it is great, easy and panoramic. From Lovska koča onwards there is no path, because two avalanches came down from the top this year, carrying everything below, including the path. The slope can still be crossed if you are willing to occasionally wade through scree and fallen trees and stick to the right. Then after about 200 elevation meters the marks appear again and the path is normally followable. On the path there are some smaller snow patches that can be crossed without major problems.
We encountered the main obstacle approximately 170 elevation meters below the summit, when the main scree field had disappeared under a snow patch, so the marked path was no longer visible, and what was dry was mostly loose rocks, so for safety we abandoned our intention to reach the summit after five hours of hiking.
Next time mežikanje
Also just below the summit it is warm, the sun strong, so the snow melts quickly and I believe that in 14 days or at most 1 month the path will be dry and normally passable.
Safe steps! nasmeh

Hi, wondering if in the last 14 days some snow has melted or if someone hiked from Soča to Bavarian Grintavec and could tell how much snow is left on the path? Thanks nasmeh
