Big thanks to both for the info and good luck.

....I expected some more mature and useful answers that would help (also experienced) mountaineers. Experienced are also cautious and don't challenge fate.... I hope someone actually writes a real answer to my question, instead of patronizing threshing of empty straw.

So how is it with Pihavec........is the path normally passable or are there still closures? For some time I want to go to Pihavec and to Bavški Grintavec, but all the time both have some issues(full of some problems everyone says a bit differently). Regardless of difficulty - is it safe for an experienced mountaineer? Thanks for real explanations.

So is the path to B. Grintavec still only from Soča village (and even that apparently not very praiseworthy)? Thanks for any info and good luck.
