Heinz - your reaction is typical for demagogues, intolerants and narrow-minded individuals. When you have no more arguments, you resort to calling for help and insults.

@teabag

but when 100 women go to Triglav, do the animals enjoy the frequencies of choral singing, which by the way isn't pleasant for every ear either? Not to mention screaming and yodeling and etc...
But I know that no little animal has died from these frequencies yet. You obviously don't know that no little animal has died from engine noise either. Little animals, unlike some representatives of the human species, retreat for those few moments. Without major psychological shocks. Will any of you Dr. Doolittles and Ace Venturas prove the opposite to me perhaps?
@teabag - Do you know how many roe deer, hares, hedgehogs actually die on roads that you probably use too? Do you freak out about that too? Do you? Probably for a moment. But you probably still use your car and roads that suit YOU, that fit into your drawer, that satisfy your needs. Right?
Or do you divide animals into first and second class? No, in my opinion they are just a pretext for undisturbed enjoyment of your hobby.....

Sorry, sorry - my 3rd post. velik nasmeh

Heinz
- don't hide behind repressive organs and outdated laws, obviously lobbied by the hiking lobby (which is, I admit, very strong and at the trough zavijanje z očmi)
- don't sell me your hobby under the pretense of nature conservation. (unless you live in the mountains, naked and barefoot in coexistence with fauna and flora)
- I can sell you mine under the pretense of hm...say social and economic development. Everyone buys a new car, new motorcycle, new 4wheeler to boost economic development and create jobs....STUPID

I'm a hiker too, and I think most of my "co-sufferers" don't want general rampaging in nature. Just one piece of space for our hobby, nothing more nothing less. And that should be the common goal. Also, if not primarily, with the help of your lobby. Help us secure our space. Definitely not by calling the police for help. The effect will be exactly the opposite.

First I apologize because I'll contradict myself by posting another post. But unfortunately I can't edit the last one.
Another question regarding destruction of flora, undergrowth.
What is greater intervention in natural environment, leaving human trace:
- quad riding on already forest-managed ripped tracks, on already trodden hardened forest paths
or
- marked hardened hiking trail (sometimes almost highway) where undergrowth also won't regenerate ever and was created exclusively because of your hobby

Well that's all from me regardless of possible replies.
Lots of enjoyment in nature to all! nasmeh

Question to all who claim that quads threaten wildlife:
Animals flee from quads, fear them. True. But not from hikers or what? Do they wait for hikers and eat from their hands? No way. And if they did there would be something wrong with that. So - with quads no one threatens any animal species more than hikers do. Ants suffer in both cases, true.
It surprises me that the same hikers who scream to the sky about the sad fate of animals due to rides in nature don't scream when new highways, new hypermarkets, new industrial zones are built....Such projects actually take living space from animals. But no, those same hikers (of course not all, I don't want to generalize) then scream because projects run too slowly, or because they got too little for selling their inherited meadow....what hypocrisy. And to avoid misunderstanding I don't advocate that they should scream then. People have to live from something right? Economic crisis is more disturbing than foreign hobbies (e.g. offroad driving) right? And when we're at foreign hobbies: it's really typical Slovenian thinking "I enjoy my hobby, and god forbid someone else in theirs if it disturbs mine." The question is what disturbs it so much if at all. About protection and care for nature I'd rather not.... In my opinion the reason is hm....envy, narrow-mindedness, egoism.
To end my first and only post on this forum: I also love nature, mountains, pristine-ness. And I HAVE NO bad conscience when I ride quad in nature because I know I don't do it more harm than all those hikers who drove by car to the starting point. If anything less, because I try not to leave waste in nature like some occasional hikers do....But to have bad conscience because I disturb your ego, dear hikers...no, no. Do you perhaps?
