Regarding "extra" kilos: surely "extra" kilos are "harmful" to health when hiking in mountains. I assume that the guest (115 kg and 177 cm) and smidov david (110 kg and 176 cm) are still younger; bigger problems from kilos and mountain hiking appear in later years. So use your head and bring your weight to normal. From my own experience I advise you: losing weight can't be done just with more exercise, but it is necessary to change diet. Just my example: June 2007 (85 kg and 180 cm), thought I was hiking mountains. Today 63 kg and only now see what fitness for mountain hiking is. I support your will, but advise use your head for later years. Good luck!
