Briefly about conditions from night hike 07.01.2012 (18:00-23:00). Road to Sviščaki nicely drivable. Path to Snežnik no problems (snow dry and normally walkable). No need for gaiters. Last 10 min slightly frozen (walkable without crampons), fairly strong wind blowing (only last 5 min). Hut open, full of visitors, jota and struklji excellent.
Wardens friendly. Unforgettable night with almost full moon (sufficient visibility without headlamp).
