I took the ski set to the Maya Maya store for a complaint. After 10 days, I got a response that the complaint was rejected. Despite it tearing at all possible seams (jacket and pants) and I've had both already 3x in repair (see the post above). In the explanation why they rejected it, their idiotic court expert officially wrote: (I got this in a letter by mail) -lifespan of ski clothing in case of intensive use is limited to one ski season, which also applies to the specific complained items -given the degree of damage, I assess the complained items as completely worn out or destroyed... -unprofessional repair caused additional fabric damage (their response when I tried to fix it temporarily with clamps) oh, and all damages are of physical nature. yeah, of course [they're] physical, it didn't tear by itself but when I moved. how should I know that everything breaks if you stretch a bit... the idiot also concluded that for "destroyed items" it's not the quality of material or seams to blame (ah where...), but me, saying I used it too intensively. with this set I logged 40 ski days this year. Has anyone ever heard that a ski set is meant only for one season use? fuck them. I won't even set foot in Maya Maya anymore.

last year I also bought a jacket+pants set on sale. it looked nice, and by looks also quality stuff. turned out I bought the biggest crap ski set possible. both jacket and pants, I've already had both 3x in repair at their seamstress. Torn apart: cuffs you pull over hand for snow protection, bonded seams that hold the hood together (after machine wash per instructions), nets on pants tore, zippers on pants broke (both sides), protective lining on pants tore (at ski boot), on inside of jacket seams are coming apart one by one pockets on jacket tore etc.... could list more. last time pants in service over 3 weeks. after two ski days seam tore again on pants holding leg and protective lining. since repair at maya maya takes over 3 weeks (14 stores in slovenia and only 1 seamstress), nothing left but wait till end of season for repair, fixed temporarily with ordinary clamps (totally dumb way, couldn't stitch because of glue needle wouldn't go through) only bright side is they've repaired everything for free so far. extremely disappointed overall. since I ski a lot I want a set that lasts whole season without issue, not carry it to repair every 3 ski days. definitely want nothing more from maya maya brand.
