John, I'm glad you wrote that it's your opinion about the technically demanding path smile I respect that smile I'm against someone claiming that it's a technically demanding path cool
I'd just like to tell you that pooches are capable of getting crazy high even to Grintovec without special problems. I wouldn't drag her to Skuta though because too many ledges and too much to carry. Only if I had a backpack for her. I always check paths that she can basically walk herself smile
I wish you many more adventures and don't look at us badly when we crawl up there with pooches. In mountains other things happen that are worse than pooches on summits wink

I have a dog myself and would ask what is a technically demanding path for you. I think it's very relative. I have a very small dog and always along the path I listen to comments how many batteries I changed, but everyone is excited where this creature can get to from Košuta to Vtača, Debele peči....
Because if I think about it, my mom for her even Golica or Debele peč is technically demanding.
But it's smart to check what the path is like if it's suitable for the dog because of size I mean. Otherwise the dog goes everywhere and it's not hard for him also because he's with the owner.
Ah here is a link for all those interested what my pooch is like and for all those to be horrified but know just this that I don't care about all comments, the point is we have fun :-)

I personally don't trust these big stores. I prefer private shops. They tell you much more although usually also more expensive but if we look at it that knowledge and experience are paid for it's ok.nasmeh

Super, I personally think can't advise which boot is good, basically all are good. Depends only if your foot accepts it or not, that's all the science. And try as many boots and different brands as possible. My foot is very demanding so usually don't get off cheap mežikanje

hi
I have La Sportiva Trango S Evo GTX and I'm not the most satisfied, everything ok but if the soles didn't hurt after 9 hours walking so crazily that I was almost throwing them off my feet, never blistered. Otherwise ok. Currently buying new ones, brand don't know yet because some new shoes are coming. Don't know where you're from, I'm near Bled and I'll buy them in Koala store because the guy really knows shoes and soles and can advise you well. Think it over well ;-) wish you lots of enjoyment :-)
