While reading your articles, I couldn't rest without writing a few words on the topic of the bear on Porezen.
I'm a local and go to Porezen in all seasons and on all paths, even unmarked, same my friends and other locals. Know that bears have been in the area for a long time; as a child, the bear shook pears on high-lying farms (almost 50 years now) and I was scared to leave the house. We must know that bears will increasingly haunt areas like Cerkno and Škofja Loka hills, overgrown with forests and remote. Few people have seen a bear, none this year, previous years more encounters on Cerkno with bears and lots of fear. The bear retreats, especially if in a group and talking. My relatives met a bear years ago on the path from Bača top to Črna prst, very scared, bear fled aside. True this year big havoc on pastures, but happens everywhere, takes survival food from nature. Can add saw many bears on Kamchatka, camped in wilderness, guides threw firecrackers before night - that smoke drives them away, when up in morning bears fishing salmon on other river side.
