Hi,
I have a boot at home: Salomon Evolution 6.0
It's an "alpine" boot, but it also has walk/ski function and I think it could be used for touring skiing (at least temporarily), right?
I'm interested if it's possible to get rubber for the sole somewhere for easier walking?

Today on the short abseil behind the heavenly stairs I forgot the green set.

Yeah, what thickness would be okay so no problems with clipping later

And nobody knows where to get it?

Probably the boiler room is not the best, nor the cellar... Best if you put them somewhere inside, just so they're warm, if they're wet stuff a newspaper inside to dry them and keep the shape.

What boot you buy depends only on your wishes and needs. Whether really just to Šmarna gora, or also more.

I wouldn't describe myself as even remotely experienced. So for now solo in the mountains still doesn't come into consideration. I have plenty of stamina and huge will and joy, but it's hard to find like-minded people with lots of time and joy. But how else to get experience than by going as much as possible with more experienced ones,

Partially agree with you, Janez... But mainly it's not smart, really because of injury risks, as we know, if you're alone you need damn luck to get out of it well.
It's true though, that you rarely find the right company whose pace suits everyone.

What's your opinion on hiking ALONE in the mountains?

Can I ask what current conditions are for ascent, or towards end of week?
