Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis)
Description:
The small or common snowdrop can be observed already at the end of winter in most of Slovenia. It is recognized by three snow-white outer perianth leaves and three white-green inner leaves, in the center of which is the floral core. The plant, which grows 10 to 15 cm tall, has the flower turned downward (like a bell), which is why it is called snowdrop.
