Topolovec is 574 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 2 km east-northeast from the center of Slatina and 3 km north-northeast from the center of Lutrje. The nearest mountain hut is Planinska postojanka PD Dramlje, located 4km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Lovska koča Štepih. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
