The nearest mountain hut is Partizanski dom na Ključu, located 2km west-northwest. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča (pod Malo Grmado). Southeast of the summit is the valley Ljubljansko barje. The peak is located on the ridge Debeli hrib.
