Schneewinkelkopf is 3476 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.9 km northwest of peak Romariswandköpfe. The nearest mountain hut is Erzherzog-Johann-Hütte, located 4km southeast. Closer is bivouac Glocknerbiwak, which is located 3km to the east-southeast. 8 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 0.8 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Laperwitzkees, 1.2 km west from the summit there is also glacier Vorderes Kastenkees. The peak is located northeast of the valley Dorfer Tal.
