The peak is located 6 km south from the center of Oberreith and 8 km north from the center of Johnsbach. The nearest mountain hut is Buchsteinhaus, located 0.9km south-southwest. And bivouac Oberreith bei St. Gallen is also close by. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Frenzgraben.
