Westliches Reifhorn is 2358 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the mountain group Steinberge. The peak is located 0.2 km west-northwest of peak Großes Reifhorn. The nearest mountain hut is Schmidt-Zabierow Hütte, located 1.2km north-northeast. Ludwig-Rieger-Biwak is also relatively close. 6 km west of the peak there is lake Pillersee. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Pillerseetal.
