Gumpeneck is 2226 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of Großsölk and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Öblarn. The nearest mountain hut is Schleinhütte, located 1.7km north-northwest. bivouac Fleiß Daumbrücke is also relatively close. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Rantengraben.
